Ever since Eric and I got engaged, I have been thinking about the aspects of the wedding where I would get to create designs. I came up with the original design for the save the date card during a scrapbook weekend in January that I attended with my Mom. Although it did not seem like a large undertaking when I made the mockup, I quickly learned the time commitment required to make 60 versions of the card. Below are a few photographs that we took along the way showing all the pieces.
Each card is handmade. Many of the pieces were stamped and then assembled in various stages.
Eric and Sophie were both very supportive throughout the process- one was a bit more helpful and the other showed her moral support!
Here are all the final pieces before Eric and I glued everything together.
Hope you enjoy the cards as they arrive in your mailboxes any day now!
What a lot of work! Do we get to see some wedding pics?
