This scene marks the beginning of our journey together.
Can you imagine falling in love with this as your backdrop? That’s what Lindsay and I did. This panoramic scene will always hold a special place in our hearts. That night after sharing our first kiss, I photographed the mysterious beauty of the Danube river flowing through Budapest.
We were both photo students of sorts on the trip of a lifetime to Eastern Europe. Neither one of us could have guessed that we would return home with much more than the satisfaction of eating authentic Polish pirogies with a side of fresh bread and lard or the thrill of delving into castle after castle filled with examples of historic art and architecture. Fortunately, we brought home the spark to a relationship that has since flourished.
Between then and now we have set off on additional treks through Germany, Italy, Seattle, Long Beach, and Alaska. We braved the harsh Rochester winters, found jobs in DC, and adopted the best dog that words alone cannot describe. The best part is that our story is just beginning. We would be humbled to have our family and friends together to wish us well as we embark on the journey of a lifetime.
